Hypothetical question: If the cast of TDK suddenly decided not to be a part of the film, what would your casting choices have been?

Bruce Wayne: Matt Dillion

Rachel: Zooey Dachsenal

Gordon: William H. Macy

Harvey Dent: Thomas Jane

Loeb: Samuel L Jackson

Fox: idk Bill Cosby? (Now i'm getting a weird thought in my head of Bill Cosby talking to Christian Bale about Sonar and Jell-O pudding)

The Joker: The kid from 3rd Rock from the Sun. Forget his name.

Lau: Jet Li

The only areas I would reconsider although I felt that the original actors did a great job would be:

Rachel - Rachel McAdams

Harvey Dent - One of Leo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Ed Norton.

I also don't see what everyone likes about Jim Carrey ... such an over-actor.

Carey has the best comic timing i have ever seen on a screen comic his phsical movement is also amazing and he is a good actor in his own right.

One thing wrong imo with Ledger was he was far too serious maybe thats what Nolan was aiming for but the Joker i know is equal parts insane, clown and showman of course this type of joker has become something to look down on by some snobbish fans.

Watch Carey in A series of unfortunate events where he plays three different characters under Noalns direction Carey would have rocked the house down.

I can't imagine changing a thing, except bring George Clooney back to reprise his role as Batman/Bruce Wayne. Bale was fine as Wayne, but that Batman voice cracks me up, and it's certainly not intentional.

I remember when Oldman was a guest on Late Night with Conan O'Brien and they showed that scene of him, Eckhart, and Bale on the roof. Afterward, Conan joked about the voice. "What was that all about?" Growling---"Can you get him to talk?" Then he said something about making Batman talk. Oldman just sat there, not laughing, and not knowing what to say.

Cloony was the biggest mess up in the series imo he had amazing potential but Schumachers rehash of the 60s Batman (which i think was what he was trying to do) just didnt really work, though i still think the movie is pretty fun when taken as it is. Also I really think Cloony got the role at a time when his acting style was still very rough he had that terrible habit of rolling his head that was distracting he later got much better as seen in is later movies such as Solaris and Good night and good luck.

If Cloony got the role around 2005 he would have probably been the best all round batman when it comes to playing charming guys cloony is a master unlike Bale he doesnt come of false when he turns on the charm, and he of course has the looks.
