yup, it may have been under his pen name (i cant remember what it is) but it was a hughes flick... more obscure than Pretty in Pink or Breakfast CLub or Ferris Bueller...

I remember this movie called Aloha Summer. It was about a group of kids vacationing in Hawaii that all meet up together there. Took place in the 50's (if i remember correctly). As I remember it was quite good though it's nearly impossible to find (no dvd releases) and few have ever heard about it.

ps. by kids I mean teenagers, they deal with their own perceptions of other cultures and the differences that they have with their parents on acceptance of other people.

Many of those movies are the exact opposite of amazing. "Snow Dogs"? Are you joking?
