I have the Amazing Spider-Man DVD collection and was wondering, what should I read? I'll probably jump straight into 2000 but what else? It has pretty much all the issues. Does anyone have just some good years or issues that they really liked that they think I should read?

And if you wondering if it works well... I think it does. Of course you will benefit more from having a big screen than a smaller one, I think about 17 is good enough. It isn't the optimal way of reading a comic, as on my macbook pro Adobe runs a little slowly, and the "preview" app has the watermark, which isn't bad but certainly not needed. I was on a trip and it was a great way to read some comics in color. Plus, I'm not a big spidey-fan.

If yu didn't already, You should read them all. In order. The Amazing Spider-Man is one bid giant story. You should see how the character progressed and regressed over the years. I know you weren't a fan, but to really get the characters of Peter Parker and Spider-man, you should read all his highs and lows.

I didn't even know you could purcahse all of the issues on DVD. I'm definitely going to look into this. Anyone here read all Amazing Spider-Man issues in existence?

Just about, because of the CD-Rom. I didn't read a few of the 500s, but from 512 onwards, I'm kool.
