Who else was watching it this week?

I'll pass. AMC never shows movies in the intended aspect ratio and they always have tons of commercial breaks.

I'll stick with Turner Classic Movies.

the commercials look cool-y edited...but

..im not gonna watch lol

Havent been watching. Though I intend on catching Halloween II on Halloween day. And hope it's the TV version with added scenes, than just the theatrical version edited for content and time ...

i got all that i want in that respect on dvd , all the freddy , jason , halloween but i might get the newly restored poltergeist.

I look forward to watching the same movies over and over again.

I hate movies on cable, because they're full screen, blown-up, grainy and censored all to s**t.

That said, I STILL love Monsterfest, just because I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!! It's so great to see Horror on TV. Me and my roommate literally leave it on all day, even though it mainly serves as background noise, haha.

Check out Turner Classic Movies. It's also on cable, but unless the movie was made before widescreen, it's in the aspect ratio the director intended. I'm at work during the afternoon so I'm not sure about if they censor stuff. But in the small hours (i.e. late night), they censor nothing. 2 months ago they had a little Pam Grier marathon with Coffy and Foxy Brown. They didn't cut out a single titty

I usually have Monsterfest turned on in the background in the same way that I'll sometimes leave Christmas songs on in the background during the holidays. I don't really pay attention to it, but every now and then I look to see what's going on.

I never watch AMC because everything AMC used to be became TCM. So I watch that now.

Monsterfest used to be great, but they don't show the old classics anymore so I don't watch it.

Yeah....luckily years ago I taped all the good Universal horror movies....without the commercials.
