Haha, I was watching the Finale with a few people and we all said the same thing. Dude must have loved the hell out of that jacket.

Season 2 starts today! I had a season 1 marathon yesterday thanks to Netlfix. I had only seen the pilot episode when it initally aired last year and didn't get to see the rest of the season. Now I'm all caught up. Really like this show. I think the opening credits are one of my all time favorites.
 
Starting earlier or will it be a case of a season being split into two parts across the year?
 
I need to rewatch season 1 before. Good thing I've got nothing else to do today. :up:
 
AMC is running all of season 1 right now leading to seaon 2 premiere. I actually thought the show was cancelled when I was watching it yesterday. Thankfully I googled it and saw it was starting tonight.
 
I hope "The Swede" has a larger role this season, I love that actor. He was great in True Blood also

Starting earlier. It will air 10 episodes over 10 weeks and then The Walking Dead premieres in October.
 
Good premiere episode... interesting to see where all of the characters are following the events of last season. It will be interesting to see how Bohannon gets back in everybody's good graces after going full outlaw.

The Swede... man, I love that character. Even when he's at his most vulnerable and you ALMOST feel sorry for him, the sick bastard reminds you just how much of a creep he really is. I can't wait to see him go back to his old arrogant, abusive self. Seriously, how the **** did Heyerdahl not get an Emmy nom for his performance on this show? He's brilliant.
 
Why the hell did the Swede even stay on? After all that crap, you would think he'd find another place to work lol.
 
He's a complicated dude. I imagine it's some twisted sense of duty or loyalty or something. But yeah, I was surprised he was still there... I knew he'd re-enter the story eventually, but I figured he'd left the railroad at the end of last season.

Also, WTF was with Eva marrying that racist old prick from last season? I know she's pissed at Elam, but I mean... REALLY? HIM? Gross. I hope Elam kills him for real this season. Or someone does.

Hes not racist anymore at least not so much. Elam got rid of it when he shot him in the mouth. Hell of a cure.

As for Eva shacking up with him, I dont think she had much of a choice when looking for something more than what she had. I doubt theres many men outside of that dude and Elam looking to make an honest woman out of a prostitute.

The Swede was pretty awesome in the ep. The little "prayer" he had for that prostitute was hilarious and chilling.

I like how the writers are exploring Elam's ambition and how hes become a man apart from everyone. Hes not welcome by the blacks and hes sure as hell not welcome by the whites. Im thinking hes going to partner up with the McGinness brothers and their protection racket.

Are Lily and Durant together now at least sexually? I got that impression but Im not sure.

I don't know... I know that guy showed up and begged Elam's forgiveness last season and all that... but I'm not totally convinced he had a Boyd Crowder moment and decided to totally turn his life around. But yeah, I guess Eva doesn't have many options. I hope we see more of her regardless, because she is one fine looking woman.

LOL, yeah. The Swede's prayer was awesome. That had me laughing my ass off. And then what he said about having more "seeds" to plant soon was creepy, lol.

Yeah, Elam's sort of the man without a party right now. He'll inevitably team back up with Bohannon because he's on his own too. Ah, the bromance.

Not sure about Durant and Lily.
 
I watched the ep. Elam went all stabby and stuff.

As Elam was stabbing him I kept thinking, "...and no ****s were given that day."

Its also been confirmed that Lily and Durant are bed buddies.

I liked the bit about the sabre tooth tiger skull. Not sure how thats going to play into the show though.
 
What's the actor's name who plays Cullen? Dude is one hell of an actor.
 
The sound editor for this show is also friggin awesome. The mixing and score...this show is great ear candy.
