Webb has already said he addresses Peter's promise to Captain Stacy in ASM2 which is backed up in the leaked set pics from
the graduation scene with a bloody Denis Leary back as Stacy. We don't know if that is a dream, hallucination or his actually come back to life somehow.

Technically, Stacy only said to "leave Gwen out of it." You could make the argument that he was simply asking Peter to keep Gwen out of the SM portion of his life (she was in the thick of the action in TASM), not break up with her entirely.

He's dead, and not coming back. It's 100% a hallucination or dream.

That is what I think as well but I've seen posters say his alive so I just added that to cover alll bases :woot:

He got impaled through the chest by four claws from a giant lizard, I think he's probably dead.

Not to mention his funeral Gwen gave Peter grief about missing. He's extra dead.

Is it just me, or does Garfield's British accent come out a bit, especially in the SDCC footage.

Is it just me, or was that friggin' epic?

Do we think that Norman was behind Peter's parents disappearance/deaths? Norman was either directly or indirectly involved in EVERY bad thing that happen in the first film, so it wouldn't surprise me if he was behind this.

I think Andrew made a bum move saying the whole what if Peter were gay thing. I understand his comment when he backtracked and said it was to pose the question what if Peter Parker was any race, ethnicity, sexuality, etc. Going on to say that Peter speaks to all people, not just white straight men. I just don't think he should have said a joke in that way. He could have easily have gotten the point across by saying being hidden behind a mask means no-one has any idea the kind of person you are and Peter is an underdog, etc. Which he has said before many, many times. It was quite poor humor IMO. But I guess he has learnt from that. If he makes jokes again, I guess they would not be on something lots of people would get shocked and confused over.

I guess it just might be his voice overall. I don't know, I'm going crazy.

He's got a point though. Why would SM being gay change anything really? It wouldn't.

andrew wasn't joking. he backpedaled because the studio probably freaked out. but that very first statement of his was not a joke.

The Michael B Jordan part was a joke, but the rest wasn't. I don't think he backpedalled from studio pressure, in various interviews he said he stood by what he said. He elaborated and clarified his comments but I don't think he backpedalled.

Anyways, this was all blown out of proportion, it's old news now and I wish we could move on. There are new things to talk about now...like that kickass trailer! :)

I see what you're saying. He says, "What do I like about being Spider-Min?' Instead of "man" it's "min". But I think that may be a part of his queens accent. I'm not from queens, so can anyone confirm?

I know in TASM he was saying, "yeh" instead of "yeah" and he said that was due to studying teenagers in queens.

I guess it's the Queens accent, I thought it was his British accent. I've never talked to anyone from Queens so I can't comment.

I've never been to Queens (Manhattan, Bronx, and Staten Island sure), so I wouldn't know as well.

Watch out guys, people from clevermovies, ign, and sites that hate everything spiderman says that Andrew is being too much of a jerk again.

This Spider-Man seems energetic and lively. For instance when he saves Foxx from the car. Combing his hair down, pointing his finger at him, tapping him on the shoulder and quickly moving away. When he defeats 'Rhino' the first time - dacking him and saying goodbye with the flick of a scroll (could be a newspaper) then we know he dances off. I like those little touches.

Dats some damn good acting skills...I don't think he would suddenly drop the ball a little if he can get down little things like saying "yeh"
