Just watched this animated film.

What........the hell was that?

I;'s as if they just had a free-for-all, where someone would come in and randomly write out a paragraph, not knowing what the last one was....and that ends up being the story.

Read the graphic novel, it works better as a comic. But Lex Luthor's voice was incredible in here.

One of the best adaptations ever, its superb

I don't think i want to after seeing that, if there are any similarities. I mean this was.......an elongated seizure or something.

The movie is substandard for DC animation, the comic is essential Superman. Morrison and Quitley nail just what makes Superman super.

One of the best Superman stories ever. At least the comic was.

The movie left out the time travel and some of the more important parts for action.

Like trying to keep Hercules and whoever from moving in on his newly super-powerd Lois...?

Yep, you don't like fun in your comics?

It just seemed bizarre and 'randomly' fun in this...like if Scooby Doo showed up or something.

Nah, that's an exageration, the plot was very well done.

Again, maybe in the comic, but that animated film was an absolute mess.

Then just go read the comic book, it's a masterpiece

Again, if the animated film showed what's in it (albeit abbreviated et al), I'm not all that interested...except maybe morbidly. And that style of art looks pretty bad too. Does he still fight a big rubber dog toy with an eye and all that?

The art works very well and complements the comic once you get used to it.

You're telling me you don't wanna see Jimmy Olsen turn into Doomsday?
