Considering that there weren't any FX in SR that didn't involve some CG enhancement is it time to go all the way and produce a computer animated Superman film?

I think that would be awesome, as long as they stick to tradition, the comics, and a really good CGI superman, kinda like this guy:

i agree, as long as they dont majorly screw it up. but i wouldnt release it in theatres.

Bruce Timm and Paul Dini all the way!

All CG? I think they'd call that a Video game. LOL

just like shrek the movie was a video game and also final fantasy : the spirit within

That could be an interesting idea, although I don't think it needs to be all CGI.

If done in the visual style of the Incredibles along with Bruce Timm attached as director or a producer, it could have the potential to be one of the best comic book movies ever made.

But, that's just my opinion, if you dsagree, please let it be known, I will try to respect your opinion as long as you accept mine. Thanks

Are you guys thinking sorta along the lines of SkyCaptain and world of tomorrow. I felt that had the look of the Fleischer Superman cartoons. Right down to the flying robots. :supes:

I usually dont like too much CG, but Sky Captain was done sort like the Fleischer cartoons as I said. We enjoyed it.

You really think so Captain Jimbo? Thanks a lot dude. I just think that Th I ncredibles is the perfectct example of to do Supes in CGI. . ADD the John Williams musicasl score and you have the perfect Supeman movie. The character design of young Mr Incredible ( near the beginning of the Incredibles, not the fatter older version sen later in the film) would need some slight modification,(ie: superman's suit, black hair, superman's hairstyle, etc.), but could be applied to Superman. I am picturing supes from TAS in that costume combined slighly with Mr Incredible. Even the design of baby Jack Jackif his hair was modified, could be applied to the design for baby Kal-El. Following what I said before, Bruce Timm should definitely be on the project somehow even if it just a creative consultant, But Brad Bird, who direct the Incredibles may be able to successfully drect this Superman film I am envisioning here. I just think that Superman would adapt so much better to this format than to live action, not to say i wouldn't like Supes in live action. This film would also appeal more to the family audience. I know This is a drawn out post but I wanted to put my ideas out there for you all to see. I believe this idea has potential. :supes: in CGI, good idea, I think so. Please tell me what you think of my ideas.
