Annoying moments in games you really like

Most of mine would be from older games. And most of them coincidentally happen to be water levels.

The damn dam level in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the NES.

Quicksand in Maridia (water level) in Super Metroid for SNES

A moment of silence for all the lives lost in underwater levels...

The TMNT stage still pisses me off. That was the most frustrating obstacle of my childhood.

I must admit, I got really sick of the skyrim music after a while

One immediately springs to mind: "All we had to do was follow the damn train CJ!"

It wasn't so much that the mission in GTA: San Andreas was difficult, it was that every time you failed your NPC 'friend' Big Smoke would yell that line. The repetition and condescending nature was infuriating. All Big Smoke did was sit on the back of the bike and shoot bad guys, meanwhile you were required to not only shoot bad guys, but drive the bike and avoid oncoming trains.

Of course it did make the end of the game infinitely more satisfying, so maybe it wasn't all bad.

Yeah, that one made me quit SA. Never got past that point.

And I agree with the interminable cutscenes/dialogues in MGS. Good god, I didn't pay good money to watch the CPU talk to itself....I want to PLAY a damn game, not WATCH it.

I remember the Control level in GoldenEye pissed me off a lot. ****ing Natalya would keep getting in the line of fire. Actually, just Natalya in general was the worst part about the game.

The whole Cortana level in Halo 3. I raged so many times on that POS
