Another potentially controversial thread from the nuttt:

Does the nuttt have to talk about the nuttt in 3rd person?

It was my first time doing so. Ever. I was hoping to utilize the pun my username allowed me in pre-empting myself and what my following remarks about my banning will me make me look to some people. I think it's called "ironic humor".

Dew: It might be a dead horse, but this is the first smash. My thread got deleted and I got unfairly banned with no warning within 15 minutes. No one was even able to fan the horse, before it got killed.

As for my stance on the article. I completely oppose what modern "conservatism" stands for. I can't stand Bush, nor any other modern "Conservative" save for Ron Paul. I long for what Lincoln's party used to stand for.

As for the "screws loose" comment, you and my wife should talk. She'd welcome the support of her ongoing assessment of her husband. :o

Yeah, the whole "neocon" movement started with the Nixon administration and has become pergressively worse since.

Man it's times like this i wonder why i bother trying, i explained the whole situation on your probation and spent ages talking to you in PM's when you contacted me, you told me you understood Eli made the right call on your posts:huh: also how do you know ppl in these other threads didn't get probation's ? not every call is made into a public spectacle.

Actually, in my last response to you, I reiterated how there were better actions to take than what was taken. I never said I agreed with what was done. My "ah" to your explanation of the situation simply denoted that I understood the opposite viewpoint you wanted me to see. It's like me understanding what motivates a suicide bomber. Doesn't make what he did any less wrong or justified in any way.

My [NOTE:] was just to make sure that somehow, somewhere, when one of you disagrees with my viewpoint, I won't get banned for that disagreement. I am simply assuming that you all support the actions that were taken, as no apologies were ever offered for the abuse of power.

Kind of like the movement the article is describing...

You were never given the probation b/c Eli didn't agree with your viewpoint, he probated you b/c you flamed 3 posters and started the thread as flamebait with your first post. Political view has nothing to do with it, I'd have given you a few days to cool off as well and I'm not from the US and don't care about the argument. You indicated to me that you understood you deserved the 5 days but that you didn't think Eli should have called you an idiot and put his view when closing the thread.

The irony of this thread and his disclaimer about being banned is that carrrnuttt is going to get himself a temporary suspension again not because of the thread content itself but because he decided to start arguing with the mods over his previous suspension all over again.

Is it really that big of a deal? Let it go and move on.

We'll leave it at that, because then, we'd be beating a dead horse. I satiated myself by giving my opinion in public, and I'll leave it there.

On to the article.

That's one of the biggest perks of being a mod.
being able to ban people for calling other posters "idiots" while calling other posters "idiots".
It's like how no one runs a red light as much as a cop does.

Everything you said in that post is cr*p. :) Especially the one in bold. Voodoo IS real, dammit! Didn't you watch that last Yankees vs. Indians game where millions of bugs just mysteriously appear and cost Yankees the game? Voodoo I say! Voooooo-dooooo!

Also, carrrnuttt has some screws loose.
Interesting article though.

True. Not to mention whenever the AZ Cardinals win a game, I automatically assume some animal sacrifices and/or sold souls to the devil is involved. :o

As for the article...I can kinda agree that Bush definately isn't the first one, but the ideat that the Republicans were always like this is a really biased one, espicially since the earliest example he can give is Barry Goldwater.

Look at it this way: the Republicans freed the slaves, now the top canidates won't even go to black debates.

The original ideals of the Republican party is no where near bad, but problems arrived when, like the Democrats, they put the advancement of their party over the advancement of their country, and sold their souls to the Christian Conservatives.

so basically, the conservative movement is alive and well in that it's always been about greed, nationalism, fearmongering, racism, corruption and incompetence? nice to know.

At least since Nixon, anyways.

CarrrrrrrrnUtttTTTTltttt!ttttT1t doesn't seem to realize that being obnoxious doesn't make people take you seriuosly.

Btw, to bring up an earlier topic here, that game was further proof that the Yankees were born of Satan.

I seriously hope you realize the irony of your post. :o

Let's just say I am not taking you seriously. At all.

*see bolded phrases*
I agree. Lincoln was a Republican and I highly respect him. Bush... we'll he can be my party buddy but nothing else.

Democrats these days aren't that great either. It sucks when party members put party ahead of country, just as you said.

:yay: hmmmm....and you were saying.....?????? lmao.....

Now, as they survey the wreckage of their cause, conservatives may ask themselves: “Well, how did we get here?” They may tell themselves: “This is not my beautiful Right.” They may ask themselves: “My God, what have we done?”

That's the problem with the Conservatives these days. I'd say "**** yeah" and break out the smores.

One day, the Royals shall rise again, and on that day, the Masters of Evil (Posada-active Man, Baron Jeter, Chien-Ming Screaming Mimi) and the traitor Damon will tremble!
