Both were great representations of the characters. I loved how they incorporated fighting styles with shrinking Ant-Man. The cinematography was great as well. Deadpool was pretty solid as well. While it would have been cool to see it with non cgi characters, it was still something to talk about
I like the Deadpool one better. Not when judged as test footage, I think what Ant-Man was able to accomplish was clearly more (at a minimum, it got a movie greenlit, so there you go), but the Deadpool footage had dialog and humor. It almost came off as a teaser trailer. So, as an overall experience, I liked the Deadpool one better.
Deadpool, just on the level it's everything I want that film to be. It does the character 100% justice in that 2 min. He's also my favorite character minus Batman so I'm definitely biased here. But the footage got it!
I need to see more of Ant-Man, I'm a huge Avenger fan but that character was never one of my favorites. While Rudd's friggen awesome, I've been more anticipated to see Wasp. Really looking forward to whatever version of her pops up. I'm sure it will be only a matter of time before I'm on board.
...both these films are very long past due. Been in development forever.
Antman!
Deadpool trailer was fun, and I like him better as a character, but as I said in another thread, I think the Deadpool game softened the impact of this trailer. The game had the same humor, more violence and even the cgi was similar.
Antman showed me something I haven't seen before.
