Wasn't sure which part of the boards this fit into. I felt like it could have went into the Lounge or possibly the Fan Fiction section, but decided it seemed the least out of place here.

My question: Does anyone have any recommendations on books/blogs about writing/formatting comic scripts?

I mostly write screenplays and blogs, but comics are probably where the majority of my ideas would best fit. I already own, "Understanding Comics" by Scott McCloud, and was looking for something that's more about format than theory. Any help on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

Alan Moore's Writing for Comics is a pretty nice little book for writing. It's short, but Moore gets to the guts of it I think.

If you enjoyed Understanding Comics, you may want to check out McCloud's Making Comics. I haven't read it myself, but it seems to be well received.

Not too sure on this one, but it's by Eisner, so I bet there's a lot to take back from it.

Here's something that I think may be incredibly handy. A reference guide including a lot of scripts from various writers. Everyone develops their own way and style, but looking at references is always useful.

Cool, thanks everyone... I think that Panel One script book is more or less what I directly need. My formatting is weak, and that's the kind of book that will give me some ideas on improving it.
