I never got a chance to read it and I heard it was really good. Can anyone send it to me?

If anyone wants it let me know. I have it saved from when it was put on the internet back in 2008.

Anyone who wants it, just PM me your email address.

I kind of wish David Koepp's and Gough/Millar's drafts are placed online.

Chabon's script as a whole is terrible. He is the one that wrote about a younger Doc Ock that had a thing for Mary Jane. Granted there was some good scenes/dialogue that was taken from his script that Raimi did use.

Yeah, I read an article on Chabon's script from somebody proclaiming that it was superior to the version we got and thought SM2 sucked.

Really, from that article, the script sounded horrible and couldn't I understand what that person saw in it. One thing that stuck out for me was this part with a "spine removal chair" thing.

Although it does sound bad, I still want to read it. Does anyone have it?

I don't know if anyone is interested but since we're on the topic of a draft written by an early writer on Spider-man 2, I listened to a podcast where Gough and Millar spoke at Southern Cal, and they claim much of the finished film was their work.

They said they pitched largely what the movie ended up being: MJ successful and engaged to John Jameson; Doc Ock having a wife, the inhibitor chip plot device, and his redemption arc; and Peter losing his powers because of streess. They seem a little peeved that they didn't share a screenplay credit with Alvin Sargent.

It saw the return of Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker, Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson and James Franco as Harry Osborn.

I heard a rumor that David Mamet (American Buffalo, Glengarry Glenross) wrote a draft for the first movie. Anyone know if that's true? That would be an amazing read.
