I'm not a fan of Stacy X in the comics, but I was interested in the concept of her being in X3. When I watch the film though, I can't picture what purpose she would've served (with her powers), so I guess it's good they left her out.

I think we already had a scaly mutant seductress... with Mystique going into Logan's tent in X2. We didn't really need another such mutant. Stacy was not necessary for X3, even though the concept drawing is good.

Incidentally, Stacy X was created in the comics because of the movieverse version of Mystique.
