Anyone here have a business liscene or buy/sell wholesale?

Hey anyone that can help me out would be great.

I am looking to try and get some info about obtaining a business license and if anyone here has any experience buying whole sale? Either directly from manufactures themselves or otherwise?

I've tried to search online and it's proving to be a slightly more difficult task than I thought finding the correct information.

So far to my knowledge as I understand it if I am going to start up a small business myself I mean really small I do not need to obtain a business license and that only if the Govt takes notice of the money I am making I will need to get one later and I will not be fined.

Any other info would be greatly appreciated.

Although it seems you don't need a license if it is small, it may always be better to. That may depend on exactly how your business is going to operate, though.

For example, to open a business bank account, you will probably need to register your business or get a license as most banks will require some sort of proof that you in fact do operate a small business.

I'm in Canada so things could be a bit different here, but it's probably pretty much the same thing.
