Apprently New Line Cinema doesn't give a **** what we Blade fans think because according to a new article posted on the front page, if a possible 4th installments is made, NL likes Jiel and Reynold sssssooooo much that they'll most certainly be back in the next film.

Than this show me that NL has no respect for us the fans because if they did, they'd know that we hated the Nightstalkers characters. Hollywood truly is full of *******s! :(
Goyer on Blade, The Flash and Batman
Source: TV Guide
July 5, 2006

TV Guide chatted with Blade: The Series producer-writer David Goyer about possibly more "Blade" films, The Flash and the Batman Begins sequel. Here are several highlights from the artice:

TVGuide.com: Will there be any more Blade features?
Goyer: It's possible. But foremost I want to focus on the television show. New Line likes [Blade: Trinity's] Ryan and Jessica [Biel] a lot, if there is a fourth film.

TVGuide.com: Your film fans and comic fans would love to know what's happening with The Flash.
Goyer: I just turned in the script. I'm revising it. Soon it will go into the studio proper.

TVGuide.com: How about the Batman Begins sequel?
Goyer: [That] is in the works as well. [Director] Chris Nolan is editing The Prestige right now, and as soon as that is finished, we're all talking about that going into much higher gear.

Why do you think Wesley is suing New Line. He got screwed over in Blade Trinity for The Night Crappers

Why!?!?! Make a nightstalkers movie. Don't ruin blade anymore.....:( :down

I thought Blade still dominated Trinity (as it should be) and I liked both Ryan and Jessica. However, I don't know if I'd want to see them carry a whole movie.

I dont think a nightstalker movie has a good enough market. How many people would be interested in seeing that? I liked Blade Trinity, just didnt like the crappy villian. Dracula was horrible. I think thats what killed Blade 3, not the nightstalkers.

Biel is so hot they can put her in every movie in the multiverse. But not Ryan. Keep him away from Blade movies. :(

lol. He tried to be too funny. Biel was sexy. The shower scene was great.

Ryan was hilarious. I love that every Blade movie has a different feel.

I think his comments were a bit over played. I liked the movie though. Dont know why people hate it sooo much.

There were moments when I felt that way, but the characters looked at him with such annoyance that I felt like they were sort of "playing the audience" response. They knew we'd be rolling our eyes, so Blade just looks at him like he wants to $h1t down his throat. ;)

I also feel some of his "added" jokes in the Unrated cut fall flat, but then the unrated cut sucks on the whole.

If you are talking about the TV Guide interview read it again. Goyer said New Line would have no problem doing a Night Crappers Movie. Not show up in the SHow

Goyer doesn't really care either. Just like Simon Kinberg he up and bolts from the Blade Trinity forums never to answer any of the criticism that the movie got. I think all the Blade movies could have been better. Their really was no good plot/story to any of the movies.
Also, note how he's obsessed with having Ryan Reynolds of all people pre-determined to play Flash, which is a character I don't care an awful lot about but still...

That's what he said.

Well you guys should of known that, when they were talking more about doing a spinnoff flick even before Blade Trinity finished filming. It's always been New LIne's attempt to make Nightstalker movie which is the reason why they got options to do it. Even though most die hards don't like Trinity there are plenty of people that enjoyed it, some people say it's the best out of the series. So there's definitely a market for it and New Line sees this as well. All they have to do is make it PG-13 and market it to the MTV crowd and it will probably do just as good as B: Trinity at the box office maybe even better since it will be PG 13 so more children can go.

Snipes says he's through with Blade. I guess he doesn't want to deal with New Line and Goyer again especially with that lawsuit against them.

With a better story the Nightstalkers could work, a stronger villian and with the other "Nightstalkers" dead it would be better. I felt both Reynolds and Biel did a good job with what they had. The biggest problem with Blade Trinity is Goyer had a lot of ideas that didn't fit into the first two movies and decided since Trinity would be the last movie he would cram those ideas into Trinity. If you watch the commentaries, especially the first movie's commentary, you'll see those ideas that they talk about throwing out are in Blade Trinity.

Some of you guys truly believe a Night Stalker movie could actually work!?!

I guess they could be fighting that ridiculous looking werewolf like they were in the deleted scene..

We all know B: Trinity was really a Nightstalkers prequel and most of us agree that movie is straight garbage for the most part except for the first 15 minutes. With that being said it still made New Line some money and something to build with if they ever decide to do the movie. Like I said the movie would not be marketed for Blade fans it will marketed for the people who liked Blade Trinity. Trinity could of been PG13 actually there was barely any gore, only reason it got the R rating because of the foul language from Reynolds. I am hearing the TV show is more gorey then B: Trinity, I still haven't seen the series yet because I don't have cable.

Make it for the MTV generation 13-23 who like Biel & Reynolds and they could have a hit. It wouldn't be the first time something corny has become popular by mindless sheeps.

I'm forced to concur. I don't like the idea of a Nightstalker movie, esp. because I think their inclusion helped ruin Blade Trinity, and I also think Biel's character was an overrated cipher.

But I do think with the right script and villian, along with marketing it to the MTV audience, a low budget Nighstalker movie can work.

It could be a more whimsical take on monster hunting. And the two leads are attractive and had some chemistry.

I believe the poster is very spot on in what the real problem with Trinity was. I listened to some of the special features stuff, and it was also obvious to me that Goyer put some stuff in there that he hadn't been able to do with the other movies. But a string of 'cool' scenes does not a movie make.

I know nothing of the kind.

Blade is still the star of the movie. He dominates. I love the movie. Great flick.

yeah they could have made Dracula so much better. they could have at least made the last fight as good as the one at the end of Blade 2. the only good thing about Dracula was his "true" form. IMO the Nightstalkers where ok but not worth doing a movie about them. but wasn't that the whole point of Blade Trinity it was Wes last movie so they want to keep it going but doing a spin off movie of the Nightstalkers?

I don't like a Nightstalker standalone film.
There is no Nightstalkers without Blade.

BTW, I hate Blade:Trinity due to poor direction, bad story, Blade being a side character in his own movie, and Dracula being a lackey. :down

I still don't think the Nightstalkers deserves a movie but what the hell...i won't be wasting my money viewing it.

Does anyone know what Hannibal Kings speech during the opening "It started with Blade, and it ended with Blade. The rest of us are just along for the ride.." means? It started with Blade? What the **** is he talking about. The war against vampires? Whistler and others had been killing Vamps even before Blade was born, so the speech just seems like another attempt at Goyer to letRreynolds 'unnecessarily' run his mouth.:(

The conflict with Dracula/Drake, I assume. Which makes sense.
