ooopsy!

It's gender switching time! (im sure alan moore would be rolling in his grave at this heinous crime against art if he was dead, but meh. A male hero called 'silk spectre' is just too silly for me to resist drawing it.)

here's dr. Manhattan on mars.

i didn't read the graphic novel, but after watching the movie i saw a lot of squid debate on the net. Read up a bit so kinda understand it. So thought i'd make my entry of rorschach spying on ozymandias buying a squid heh.

here is my entry.

here is my entry:
Guess who was a founding member of the minutemen...

i had a real hard time coming up with anything, just felt a little uninspired this round. Regardless i managed to come up with something i think was funny

"this city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended
gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over,
all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder
will foam up about their waists and all the ****es and politicians will look up
and shout 'save us!' and i'll look down, and whisper 'no.'"

The real watchmen

its who they were based on. I read somewhere that alan moore wanted to use the newly bought characters, but dc made him use others.

Nightshade = silk specter
captain atom = doctor manhattan
blue beetle = night owl
peacemaker = comedian
thunderbolt = ozymandias
question = rorschach

Here is mine for the month(s)

Apparently I spent more time designing and not drawing, so mine isnt finished. But at least the redesigns show. Well, minus Manhattan, I don't know how to redesign him.
And secondly, mad props to the people who design costumes for movies. It really damn hard. Especially when you put thought of function and practicality in. I think if someone complains about a costume the should then draw thier version to show how it could be better.

So heres my completely incomplete submission.

An Xmen one would be pretty groovy.

I like the idea of X-Men although I would like to see something that would spark peoples imagination to make them come up with some unique designs.

Maybe put a twist to it similar to the Steampunk month, some great work came out of that.

I'd like to thank everybody that takes the time to work on these pieces of art and submit them. It takes a lot of time to create just for somebody else to glance at... I for one enjoy it thouroughly.
