Well I don't think they could do a Ninja Turtle film without their pal April, since she has been a part of the story since like issue 2 of the original series right?

Anyway, she seemed to be the last character without a discussion page. I've got nothing right now, except wondering if they'll bring back the yellow jumpsuit and white boots for this movie? I doubt it, those'll probably stay in the 80's.

So did she ever become a reporter in the comics full time? There was an issue where she went to Egypt for some reason and the TMNT followed. Not sure what she was doing there, but she was covering a story.

She should be a reporter, since this is a continuation of the first two movies and that was her job.

Plus, there was no indication she was into science stuff in the movies, so turning her into an assistant for no reason wouldn't make any sense.

As for that ugly outfit from issue 2 of the comics and the old toon...hell no!

Oh, I love 80's fashion...I just don't see anything fashionable about that ugly jump suit she wore in the old toon.

I don't get why she was wearing it in the first place, the only reason we saw her in that outfit in the second issue of the comic was because she was a lab assistant...that made sense...but for her old toon counterpart to wear it was just dumb.

Yeah. That episode was a bit in an in-joke for people who knew about the old comic origin for April.

I respect the team that does the comics.....but that had to be one of the STUPIDEST things that was ever done. the cool thing about April...no matter if she was a reporter, like in the old toon and the old movies.....or a lab assistant/shop owner in other incarnations...was that she was relatively normal. I nice contrast to what was going on around her. *sigh* now she's just another freak....dang it
