Are any of you organ donors?

i was just curious as to how many of you were organ donors. when my sister died my mom and i did'nt donate her organs. thinking back i feel real guilty about it. but at the time my sisters death hit us pretty hard because it was unexpected.(sighs) so when the nurse asked i just blurted out a huge no!

my nephew was an organ donor, and after he died, his organs went to three other people.

skin grafts helped save a 3rd degree burn victim, a heart transplant saved another, and i believe his eyes were used as well.

when he died, he'd lost so much blood there wasn't much that they could use, but i'm so proud that he saved lived and helped people. LifeNet sent my sister a commerative plaque in memory of my nephew and what he did.
