Yea, it never really made sense to me that it would be completely sterile. I just remember reading that numerous times over the years. Obviously it is waste so there has to be something in it that wouldn't be good for you

It's sterile if YOU piss it out and use it, like drinking it in emergency situations, you don't want to let other people drink or try and use it to sterilize somebody's wounds. That's no bueno
