Look at Arnie's movie output. There are three classics (Terminator, Terminator 2 and Predator), some average stuff (Conan the Barbarian, Twins, Kindergarten Cop) and a whole load of **** (Eraser, Jingle all the Way, Conan the Destroyer, Red Sonja, Commando, Raw Deal, Red Heat, The Running Man, Total Recall, Last Action Hero, The 6th Day, Batman & Robin, End of Days, Collatral Damage, Terminator 3...)

True Lies is a classic, even though it really isn't that old. An T3 isn't total ****, I find it pretty enjoyable and easy to watch actually.

Meh, I like alot of his films.

Aside the obvious T1 and T2, Predator, I also liked The Running Man and Total Recall.

Total Recall's one of my favs. take it out of the **** list. Commando too... it's corny but I like it anyway.

I have to say also that I didn't understand End of Days at all.

Oh and I went to see Collateral damage and completely forgot about the movie like I had amnesia about a minute after watching it.

the running man and total recall are easily just as good as terminator and predator, even if they aren't as aknowledged...

and true lies is great, and end of days is i think, my favorite ahnold movie.

True Lies is good and Total Recall is in my top 5 underrated movies ever. Commando is entertaining if you throw out belief and just enjoy the movie.

Total Recall, Collatral Damage, End of DAys, 6th Day, and even Batman and Robin are all entertaining... Most of Arnold's movies are very entertaining, I mean it might not be high cinema but I've always left satisfied.

P.S. I don't get how there any less entertaining than Highlander?

I like some of his movies, but I can't stand him

T1, T2, Predator, and True Lies are his best films IMO.

I sure hope he does T4 (if possible) and Predator 3.

Highlander?! Where did that come in?

Okay here's my grade:
TERMINATOR: excellent film and one of Arnold's best
TERMINATOR 2: even more exciting and lots of action
TERMINATOR 3: not as good as the others but plenty of action nonetheless
PREDATOR: excellent action suspense movie
THE RUNNING MAN: pretty good futuristic sci-fi movie
TOTAL RECALL: another excellent sci-fi epic, Arnold has a knack for sci-fi movies
COMMANDO: good action revenge type of film

okay and now for the bad:
CONAN THE BARBARIAN: not a big fan of barbarian movies
CONAN THE DESTROYER: never saw it
RAW DEAL: Arnold as a cop not believable
RED HEAT: Arnold as a RUSSIAN cop even worse and the buddy cop schtick has been done to death
BATMAN & ROBIN: yeah give me a break!
TRUE LIES: started out promising but felt it was too long
LAST ACTION HERO: okay but not great
THE 6th DAY: it was okay
END OF DAYS: it was okay

I haven't listed Arnold's comedies because I felt they deserve a thread on comedy movies.

Schwarzenegger has always aligned himself with top level talent. John Mileus for Conan The Barbarian, James Cameron for The Terminator, T2 and True Lies. Paul Verhoeven for Total Recall. John McTiernan for Predator.

He does have some stinkers, but his classic films more than make up for them

Conan the Barbarian is his best work. Great movie. I'd say Terminator is second, followed by Predator, then T2. True Lies is pretty good, but suffers from some here and there bad writing.

The rest is crap, especially T3.

Arnold needs to do Conan the King, as was hinted at at the end of the SE DVD.

The guy can't act. That might explain why he has so many horrific films. His only real classics are him playing a robot and a soldier that fights an alien-like creature.

You don't to have great chops for that.

Truthfully im not a fan of Arnold. Im a fan of the few good films hes been in.. thanks to other powers at work.

The Terminator, T2 and Predator are his best work.

Kindergarten Cop i was entertained with. Action Comedy.

The Sixth Day, entertaining but nothing special.

The rest.. blah.

Arns nothing without a good script and director.

I know you like it quite a bit, and I'd put Arnold's movies on the same level as highlander, which is entertaining 80s fluff.

I'd say he has 4 exceptional action films(T1.T2,True Lies,Predator)1 good action film(Total Recall) 2 good comedies(Twins,Kindergarten Cop) and the rest are all just reasonable action flicks with varying degress of quality

Arnold Schwarzenegger rules! If you don't agree, he'll ram his fist through your stomach and rip out your god damn spine!

BTW i cant stand the running man lol bored me to tears.

how dare you bad-mouth the classic that is jingle of the way.

lmao

True Lies was his bond type of franchise. I found it entertaining. Not my thing though but Cameron saved that one.

It's noticeble that 3 of his best 5 performances were under Cameron
