Ubisoft has confirmed it no longer plans to launch a second major Assassin's Creed Shadows expansion, something that previously would have formed part of the game's now-scrapped season pass.

First the constant hate campaigns against the game from low life Grifters trying to ruin the game.
Then it surpasses expectations, sells well and gets good reviews...just for Ubisoft to completely fumble the post launch.

One of the craziest stories in Gaming in recent years.

But will they really just wait it out till the next AC comes out, without adding content to Shadows?
Normally they deliver content till its time to start the Marketing for the next AC.
The Next AC is Hexe, but that i would assume is not out until 2027, so a full year without AC content?

No expansions are fine to me and this already has a story expansion. Not as expansive as Valhalla's and we know how bloated that game is. Them announcing though there would be more post-launch content, then canceling them just sounds alarming.

That being said. I hope Hexe is ready for late 2026 or early 2027.
