I know this won't help, but I think your out of luck. I honestly don't see how you would be able to do that. At least, I haven't seen anything out there that could do a conversion like that.

Technically speaking I know it IS possible because they're both transmitted the same way, AC3=Coax. I just need a converter if any of you know about any... if not me and my cousin (an electrical and computer engineer) will have to make one.

I think that will be your best bet because I don't think there are any commercial options.

I think you're looking at a custom mod to do what you're thinking of. I've not seen an adapter like that before.
