Avatars not updating?

Hey I was trying to change my avatar back over to one I've used many times before. It's not over the alotted size, but when I click save to use it it just says "Unable to save image".

Anyone know whats going on?

I was getting the same message earlier, but I checked a few minutes ago and was able to switch. The problem appears to have been resolved.

...or I just caught a fortuitous window.

...or I'm lying through my teeth here.
