Well, I managed to finish the last MoM task, got 32 lock boxes (for a total of 40), and I opened them by tens. I got the first one as dub, but the next two weren't so I finally got Magneto! I'm both shocked and relieved, and I know that I got lucky since many people spent many gold but still couldn't get Magneto. Unfortunately, this won't be the last time they do lock boxes, and we will be having issues with it again in the next SO. But for now I'm going to enjoy using him and training him to 12.

and I see people in PvP still cheating, some dude with a level 5 Deadpool killed all my level 12 heroes and my agent

And what about Human Torch and Valkyrie?
The first one seriously needs to be nerfed. I'm tired of facing him on PVP. He has an attack that, most of the time, kills in one hit.
Valkyrie is so, so annoying to face. She has an ability that prevents the allies from dying and, if they don't "die", they're healed. What the hell?

I dont have issues with Human Torch in PVP (i still have Captain America in my lineup and he kills him very easily), and i havent really faced Valkerye there. Spiderman (with that friggin' black and white uniform) gives me more trouble.

yeah I 'm sorta the same but it's 50/50 with human Torch (but yeah I do think at times he needs to be nerfed) I just don't say it. and it depends on who starts off first.

On Valkerye there. I have a fully specked out jean or scarlet witch to face her and usual have rock land on her to stop her from doing her ability and then I have my agent and my other character with them do their thing. Any way i have my fully specked/maxed out characters do pvp.


Now if you run into a team of ghost rider and Valkerye or quick silver and her and don't have the start, then your in trouble.

Ok, so, with my last few UISO, I was able to 4 star all of the chapters, missing just a few minutes. With the help of 8 golds, I was able to gather 50 lockboxes. I got only 1 cover and four duplicates. Man, this is so unfair. I'm one cover away from Magneto.

I spent 3 gold gold to get an extra 30 UIso to finish an epic run of Mission 2. Not a bad decision to use gold since I basically got 10 CP for 3 gold (5 CP for 5-starring and another 5 from epic boss fight.)

Use the golden tyrant blade on Torch, works for me

It is a shame that PvP could be 10 times better than it is. They should really call it the " Use your useless team, while everyone else uses Captain America Or Human Torch, with Dr. Strange Tournament". I went through I dont know how many combos like that Yesterday. Seriously make some improvements loke No passive abilities until a Character takes his turn ( No more instant kills from Strange because he gets 500 turns once he gets to FIRST TURN!). I believe that might change people stratagies a little bit. And for the love of god nerf that Army of One. Can we say 2 round cool down. I mean they cool off the Quantum Jumper (as much as I hate to say it It was a good idea), but no nerf for that Crazy gun?!?! Ahhhh one can only hope that eventually they will get Pvp right.

Looks like this weekend MAA will be getting alot of re-releases, to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the game. Hopefully there will be reissues of older LE items with gold discounts, like when they had that 12 Sweet Days of Christmas. I would like to have another shot at getting Barrowguard and/or Rocket Pistol again.

I do pretty well with Iron Man and Black Widow. I won five battles the other day. My agent has a katana that causes bleeding, then Tony does his second attack that causes fire and Black Widow does attacks on her own in between turns.

And who wants to bet the collection box hero will be Vision? Kind of makes sense for both of these since the Age of Ultron event is going on in the Marvel Comics world.

Damn it, I didn't think about that. Vision is one of those I would've gone after if there wasn't this lock box thing. And as I said "I won't doing the Spec ops" for a good long while. lol can't I need to build up in game money and finish up with the character I have already.

I was reading the Twitter account of one of the game's producers (Justin Wood) and he said that the initial plan is only to release reformed villains in the lockbox collections. That was from Feb 5th so they may relent on that and allow for someone like Vision. We could also see Vision as a CP hero. One way or another, I think Vision will show up soon.

When the game art for Vision was released at New York Comic-Con 2012, I figured that we'd somehow get Wasp and Ant-Man/Giant-Man/Henry Pym, too. Well, we have Wasp released and now Pym being teased, so it's only a matter of time before Vision shows up.

I don't know I'd say your chance's with pvp are better if you have enough characters that are maxed to gold or enough to make it mid way if it's a mix of that and others in silver and what's in your pvp bous armory . If you don't have enough in game earned gold cp or or those ISO 8's to push you through then your forced to spend real money to do the SO. and that's more of an issue to me and others it wold seem. With pvp I don't have to worry too much even though both will come back around later just for a special sale, it seems the SO ones are more expensive at times. and the pvp characters are just more accessible. if you have enough to pick them that is.
