Where can I get a codec for avis for Windows Media Player?

Install the player and just keep it there if you have the HD space, lol, not sure if the codec will still work with Windows Media without the player on the computer.

Or, you can go with VideoLAN, which pretty much plays anything.

I use VLC player for like, image files I think it is, but otherwise, blah, lol. Such a boring layout and the time navigation/pausing is waaay too inconsistent.

The only time I had even had any issues with that was when I hadn't restarted in a VERY long time.

I'm all settled in and... blah, Windows Media works fine for me.
