Hi

I've been trying to dl videos from places like Youtube, Google Video & Dailymotion. They're flash, and I heard about converting a flv file into something like an avi/mp4/mpg. So I got Riva FLV Encorder. But I experienced problems. While I got the sound, I didn't get the video. I checked up and I found out I need a FMP4 codec. I've been having trouble finding this codec and I need it if I'am to watch this file as an avi with me seeing it instead of just hearing it.

So could someone help me into finding and getting this codec? Ina safe metter?

BTW, the reason for the topic's title is because I may need another way to get these if it turns out that way.

If you are using Firefox, there are several extensions that will let you extract the videos from all those various sites such as Video Downloader or Download Helper. They work very well and do grab the video as well as the audio.

I don't have Firefox. I got, as I said above, Riva FLV Encorder. Now if what you said could help me, even with getting that FMP4 codec, then could you direct me to where I can get Firefox to do these things?

Also, should I get rid of the Riva FLV Encorder?

CTRL+U
Find the flash file.
Download it

Umm, u mean do CTRL+U right now, at this website of SHH? Or somewhere else?
