Bad first impressions

Has anyone ever gotten a bad impression of you when the first meet you for one reason or another?

With me, I don't smile much (I don't frown, just don't smile) but when people see me they automatically think I'm mad about something. Also, sometimes I like wear my trenchcoat (it's the lightest coat I have and it's comfortable) but when you add this to the not smiling and people say the same thing to me all the time and I hate it, "you look like you're about to kill someone".

Just a very stoic and unapproachable individual is what I get from people when they see me. Which is true, I guess. If you can't be respected, be feared.

I don't think people think so good of me when they first see me because I frown a lot. The good thing about me is that I smile a lot when I talk.

I'm very quiet and don't have much emotion or expression when people I meet for the first time. I'm getting a feel for there personality and it lets me know how to act around them. I have been told by my wife that it comes off that I am either angry/mean or just a vibe of being arrogant.

I get exactly the same thing. It came from being in ballet most of my life. And I have a pouty mouth (kinda frown like alicia silverstone) best way I can describe it.
Snob is what I get most and is the first thing friends tell me once they get to know me.

I never smile much either, and i interrogate people when i meet them about films and stuff. It's kinda unsettling, but then again I don't care what people think about me much. If I go out to make a good impression, that's easy enough, I just don't really want to make a good impression, lol
