The Dark Knight Bale Article in New Details

I'm not sure if this has been posted already, and if this belongs in the Christian Bale/Bruce Wayne thread, then I would appreciate it if the mods would move this into that thread.

Batman star Christian Bale narrowly avoided a grisly death on the set of the new superhero movie, when a plunging helicopter missed him by just feet.

The actor didn't realise how close he had come to being decapitated on location at Chicago's Sears Tower - America's tallest building - until he noticed the shocked expressions on the faces of crewmembers.
He tells Details magazine, "I've been in situations where things could have gone very wrong. I saw a number of very anxious faces on the Dark Knight when a helicopter came incredibly close to me. I was standing on the corner of the Sears Tower, on the outside 110 stories up. I felt quite oblivious to it. I was looking at the face of the pilot and just hanging there, not fully aware that the blades were actually just feet away from my head."

Damn! This is crazy!

It would have elevated the film to epic proportions. I don't think there has ever been a film with both stars being dead. Not to mention iconic characters such as Bats and Joker.

QFT, it would've also however get some ppl into thinking, though as crazy as it may sound, that there's some kind of curse on the movie. We've already had incidents where a main star died prematurely before their film came out, a.k.a Bruce Lee, and with Bradon, he died because of the movie due to the poor production skills with them not checking correctly on the guns, but to have lost two of the main stars for the film, I don't think that's ever been done before.

Too bad...
please tell me that you're not using the words "too bad" as a direct reply for the topic of Bale nearly having been killed on set in the way I'm thinking you're using it:wow:
I hope I never narrowly avoid a grisly death when you're around...

Too bad...

...for the people that could have made money off of his Batman figures. (We all know that there are alot of those.)

Seriously though, didn't Bale admit to having a problem with lying in his interviews? I think he even stated it in a recent interview. For all we know he could be bull ****ting.
