Someone who doesn't believe dinosaurs exist is too pathetically brainless to be in school in the first place.

If there is one thing in the world to be genuinely ashamed of, abject stupidity is it.

Oh, and let's not mention poverty or unemployment! If we forbid them to be mentioned, they'll go away!

If they're going to not use these words, then what exactly is there left to teach? The kids will be in for a shock when they encounter the real world.

I doubt the school district was getting complaints about any of these words. So if they came up with it on their own, I don't see how they were ever intelligent enough to graduate themselves.

Can they ban the word 'ban'...because it sounds a bit too bureaucratic?

I demand they leave the word "test" off the test paper, because it generates feelings of stress and anxiety.

They should go ahead and just ban tests while they are at it. School is too stress-full. A's for everyone!

Ban speaking altogether and make it easy.

when you try to please everyone you please no one

Also, it must not show the word "paper", because this brings to mind destroyed trees and could be offensive to environmentalist students.

The paper must not be white, because this could be perceived as racist to non-Caucasian students.

The student must not be required to write their name, as this could raise privacy concerns.

And lastly, the papers must not be graded, because receiving a poor grade could detrimentally affect a student's self-esteem.

Indeed. A's for all. It will help their self esteem, even though they didn't earn said A.

the problem isn't religion...the problem is we became a sue-ing country. We sue when we feel slighted. While we feel this is a stupid measure they are trying to protect their butts.

It's all for the sake of the kids, and raising competent, inoffensive, and censored future caretakers of our world.

I would not allow my child to be "taught" by someone who thinks humans and dinosaurs roamed the Earth at the same time.

All words in this thread have been banned.

No more posting in here.

The word "banned" creates images of discrimination and could be upsetting to children.
