Billy Dee Strikes Back
Williams joins dark romantic comedy.
by Brian Linder
US, March 27, 2008 - Judy Greer, star of ABC's new comedy Miss Guided, will star opposite Patrick Wilson in the dark romantic comedy Barry Munday. We suppose that's the big news, but The Hollywood Reporter scoops that Lando Calrissian himself, Billy Dee Williams, has also joined the flick.
Additionally, actresses Chloe Sevigny and Cybill Shepherd will star, THR says.
Wilson plays the womanizing title character who's having a rough time. Brace yourselves fellas... He gets attacked, loses his testicles, and then learns that a woman he had a fling with (Greer) has filed a paternity suit.
Sevigny will reportedly play the woman's flirtatious sister, who has a secret life and no problem making passes at Munday. Shepherd will play their mother.
- Lucasfilm Ltd.
What have we here?!
And Billy Dee? Williams is cast as the tough boss at Munday's insurance company.
Newbie helmer Chris D'Arienzo will write and direct.
