I never notice any love for the the two old movie serials, Just watched them after a couple of years and I still find them actually pretty decent and underrated, Even enjoy them more than the 1960's show and movie!

I remember going to my dad's apartment and he rented the serials one night and I got to watch em when I was about 13 or so. Haven't gotten to see em since, but it's really nice to see where the live action adaptations REALLY started. I've got to get a hold of them some time.

Are these streaming anywhere... all I have are my VHS tapes and no VCR.

HELLO FRIENDS,I ACTUALLY HAVE THEM ON DVD SINCE 2005.THE FIRST WAS BETTER IMO

With the whole continuing the 89 comic I really would love some more stories in the '43 universe

I’ve only seen a couple of these serial installments. I wasn’t aware that they originated (?) the onscreen POW!/BAM! business — a fanciful embellishment commonly associated with the Adam West series.

They didn't, I think that rerelease trailer was made around the time the 60s show was on.

Like Kane says, the trailer shown here with the POW/BAM on the screen was made in the mid 60's to capitalize on the popularity of the Adam West TV series. I've had copies of the serials (starting on VHS tape around 40 years ago) and the old original serials didn't have the sound effect words on the screen.
