Sorry if this has been posted before. If so, just close this.
The old black and white Batman serials from the 1940's have been released on DVD. They were pretty popular back in their time. Each episode would end in a cliffhanger and you'd have to go to the movie theatre the next week to find out what happened.
Anyone ever seen these? If so, how are they?

they were pretty low budget and batman was a bit chubby it was darker than adam wests batman too, it was good for what it was worth checking out since it doesnt cost too much

Do not confuse the first serial with the second one. The second one is pretty bad, the first one is highly enjoyable for historically interested bat-boys.

I'm a fan of the first serial.

For those interested.....Best Buy currently has both DVD sets on sale (when they originally came out they went for $25-$30) now for $13.

The first one is hillarious, if only because of all the crazy, WWII era, anti-Japanese racism.
