the early Batman TAS... the hand drawn animation with a very 40s style look... JUST SUPERB... I really wish they had like 10 more seasons of that stuff before introducing Robin and then making Batman all futuristic and Justice Leaguey...

Even with Robin coming in and Batman being all extra high-tech,I still thought ALL seasons were amazing!,I even think the Batmobile from TAS is one of my top fav.Batmobiles from any outside comics incarnation.

The FOX run of Batman: The Animated Series remains as close to definitive conception of the character and his world as I've seen in any media. Pretty much the nearest we'll ever see to a Batman film directed by Alfred Hitchcock.
