Batman (1989) Enhanced version on AMC, July 1st

I thought Id give a heads up for anyone interested. American Movie Classics is going to be debuting their enhanced version of Batman on July 1st at 10:30 p.m., preceeded by the original version which starts at 8.

There will also be a couple of follow up showing over the next couple of days but I dont know if they will be the enhanced version or not.

For those who dont know, the AMC enhanced version is simply a letterboxed version of the movie with tidbits of movie trivia and info about the movie that plays at the bottom of the screen. Im sure most if not all the stuff will be things that we already know, but its still fun to watch.

Same here. Hell, I watched the enhanced version of Batman: The Movie, so I know I'll definately be checking out my favourite Batman flick in enhanced mode.

Did you ever see the West/Ward reunion film, "Back to the Batcave", Batattack? It's worth checking out if you are a fan of the 60's tv show.

Yeah, I own the DVD. I love that Frank Gorshin was in it along with Julie Newmar (who is the nicest person I've ever met). The whole dance scene with West and Newmar was priceless. Pretty funny stuff,

Yeah that was pretty funny. I, unfortunately missed the initial airing of the movie which I believe aired on TV sometime during 2003, but on the same day the Batman Begins video game was released back in the summer of 2005, I made sure I got to the store to pick it up and you can well imagine my surprise to see "Back to the Batcave" sitting there in the DVD section. Needless to say, the Batman Begins video game wasnt the only Bat related product I purchased that day.

P.S. It was also name that Lee Meriweather made a cameo appearance as well. As I quite enjoyed her peformance in Batman The Movie.

They are editing alot of little scenes. Its been afew minutes worth so far. I hate when they do that.

Yeah I hate seeing, "Edited for time" pop up right before the movie.

Other networks are just as guilty of this as well.
