Batman 60s Series - Screen Test

I thought that was good but Batsuit was....

i like that guy as bruce wayne, but he wasn't right for the show. it seemed like he wasn't in on the joke.

"To the Batcave!" *slowly walk down hallway and out door* LoL:confused:

And what a sissy sounding Robin. Well, nevermind, it's Robin.

that's probably why he didn't get the part:up: (even though he seemed like a pretty good dramatic actor), and the fact that the kid was a horrible actor is why he didn't get the part

Good find. Lyle Waggoner seemed to be destined for the DC Universe ... although he didn't get the part of Batman, he did later play another DC comics character, Wonder Woman's love interest, Steve Trevor, on three seasons of that show. He also appeared in that embarrassing "Return to the Batcave" movie that aired on CBS a few years ago.

I did like the large, no oval bat symbol on Waggoner's costume in that footage, as well as some of the dialogue referring to his parents' murder and his training as a crimefighter. The murder of the Waynes was only briefly mentioned one time in the Adam West series.

I liked Lyle Waggoner in that batman outfit. Lyle seemed "more serious".
I think Lyle was in a lot better shape than West, but West could really play up the camp!

Nice post!

Wagner looks exactly like this one frame of Batman with is cowl off in Alan Moore's Killing Joke!

Robin looks awesome fighting - but that voice - LOL!
