The Mad Monk is shaping up to be a very good vampire story. But what are your favorite Batman vs. Vampire stories.

Mine is one from the 80's. Written by John Byrne, involving Superman. There had been murders in this small town. Bruce comes in to investigate in disguise. The killer turns out to be a little teenage "daisy duke shorts" wearing vampire.

Bats runs her thru with a stake just before she bites Superman!!

Anyone remember that one??? The best in my opinion.

YES!

I've been looking for that story for years! It was reprinted in an British summer special (of all things). Very atmospheric. Any idea which issue it's from?

I'm also a huge fan of Red Rain. I believe it's the closest any Batman comic has come to Bob Kane's original three of four stories.

back in the day, when he first started, one of the first super powered villains he faced was a vampire and his minions...I liked that story alot :o

Didn't Bruce become a vampire in a Gene Colan illustrated stry from the 80's??

Red Rain is part of a trilogy that continues with Bloodstorm and Crimson Mist.

Yes he did.
There is even an issue where he fights Dracula.

The JLA arc "The Tenth Circle" was pretty good. If only for the bat-joke at the end.

That was also the 80's version of the Monk with the purple robe. Good issues!
I love all The Monk stories and the current. I really wish there would be a return of The Monk that deals with him now and not olny in the early years.

I liked Red Rain and Bloodstorm. Crimson Mist was one of the biggest dog turds I've ever read in my life.

if you like s**ty animation, voice acting, character models, storylines, and a joker who still doesnt wear shoes, then it's good...if you're you know, sane, and have any taste at all, then it totall sucks, just like everything The Batman related.

Have you actually seen the movie? It's rather different from the TV show.

A Batman story about vampires? Eh, I much rather prefer hookers and vampires.

There's this one too, I think Bats was bitten by a Kryptonite vampire.

I remember this comic. I had it years ago. He was actually a Were-bat.
