I would DL it tonight, if you have the code. They're only giving 50k away for both systems. I'm pretty sure you can DL it right now, and have it before you even get the game.

Looks great IMO.

A future BR skin would fit in nicely indeed, as Catwoman gives herself a quick 'bath' between rounds.

You can't play any of Catwoman's campaign missions if you can't update through the internet.

System updates are usually all built into the disc, I think. Shouldn't be a worry. Though you will need to be connected to the internet in order to redeem the Catwoman DLC (playable in campaign, challenge mode, skins). You can play through without entering your Cat code, though.

I'm not sure about co-op Bane, that may be on the disc. They did this, so that if you buy the game used, you'll have to pay $10 to play the Catwoman campaigns. You get them free if you bought the game, but you have to DL.

It's a suck system, and they're trying to combat against used game sells, as they don't see any of the money, and people who rent or don't have internet kinda pay a price.

Yeah, it is. It's grouped in with all the other side missions/Riddler challenges.

It pisses me off that i pay all that money for a game that requires me to log online to get the FULL story because of the whole Catwoman thing. I can't connect my PS3, i've tried, via google sites and youtube vids, and it just times out all the time everytime my PS3 tries to find a connection. Such a shame, i really wanted Catwoman, sigh. Such a stupid way to release a game.

ANYWAY, got the game and will play it today.

Got me the first time, when I was just creeping across the ice, and it didn't get me....but I jumped so much I fell into the water and then it did lol. Even the quietness being broken by the "crack" of the ice had me on edge... and yeah. The last time it gets the raft and you have to beat it really freaked me out lol.

The T-rex was a nice little scare, too.


As far as the game....really liking it so far... It's very different from the first. But has elements where it feels the same. (I.e. everytime you go in a building it feels like Arkham). Good atmosphere....nice villains so far....not repetitive.

My only complaint, so far...

I didn't really care for how they handled [BLACKOUT]Ra's Al Ghul[/BLACKOUT], SO FAR. I don't know if we'll see him again...but a straight up fight would have been better....He has no powers that I know of like those in the game. And the [BLACKOUT]Demon Trails[/BLACKOUT] were a little weak. It was like they were forcing trying to simulate the Scarecrow levels.... (However, this technique worked with the [BLACKOUT]Mad Hatter[/BLACKOUT] side mission).


Just my two-cents.

Found myself really diggin their portrayal of Penguin too btw. I have 20 minutes until Protocol 10 is initiated, so I can't wait to get into the thick of the "real" story. Mr. Freeze was interesting....Dini writes him well. And I can't wait for Tyger to storm the place and for me to go after Hugo, finish helping [BLACKOUT]Bane[/BLACKOUT] and capture Deadshot.
