Pfft! Loeb has contributed a lot too. After the revamp of Batman he practially did Batman's second and third year (TLH and DV) which did Two-Face's and Robin's origin great. Loeb's The Long Halloween is the best Batman Graphic Novel!

There may have been no The Long Halloween without what O'Neill did in the 70's. That revamp rescued the character from Campy Hell. It's noted that Batman was in near oblivion at that point. Who knows what turn the title would have taken.
