Batman Forever batmobile in "Arthur" remake

I had no idea this was going on, so forgive my lateness.

I just saw a tv spot for the "Arthur" remake starring Russell Brand and saw the return of the "Batman Forever" batmobile. I couldn't find the tv spot online but this is what I managed to dig up:

I don't see the need to remake a film like Arthur... And I don't particularly find Russell Brand very funny. But to each his own.

Brand was just on Jimmy Falon. He said he wore Clooney's batsuit....but it appears to be Kilmer's?

Kilmer and Clooney's suits look similar. I can't tell the difference.

Its clooney's. They just painted in the yellow. Look at Kilmer's suit, especially logo - its different

Now compare the logos from Arthur's and Clooney's suits

It's the Clooney suit from B&R but was last used by Bruce Thomas in Bird's of Prey, which is why the emblem have a gold background.

Kilmer's suit always looked great in pictures... and not even that bad in motion.

But yeah thats definitely Bruce Thomas' variation of the Clooney suit, with a little paint job.

The Batmobile was fine too... but a definite step down from the Burton-mobile.

I like Kilmer Batsuit but I prefer Keaton/Returns Batsuit. 89 Batmobile is the best car ever.

oh....God. what are they doing to Arthur? making him a fanboy nerd or something? just terrible. glad i decided to skip out on this one. i agree russel brand is a *****e and i cant stand him. then again i cant stand many of todays "funny" actors.n

the fact they would even attempt to remake Arthur is a joke and a slap in the face to the original classic. todays remakes just suck in general though. dudly moore was superb and hilarious but also charming and likeable. wtf did they do to him in this one? just awful. movies today...wtf? seriously?
