As much fun as the speculation is, why do so many ALWAYS assume that anytime an actor, who's name they know, is cast in one of these films, the assumption is always that they are playing a character from the source?

Remember Anthony Micheal Hall in TDK? Or Joshua Harto/Coleman Reese?

People went nuts over Juno Temple's character too, and she probably had 1 minute of screen time in The Dark Knight Rises.

I remember reading a fan theory that john blake would have superpowers based on this shot from one of the trailers.

Even though it's obvious that he's got his hands up because someone has a gun pointed at him.

More often than not if it's a 'name' actor then they have a significant part usually involving a pre-existing character.

Remember the hoopla surrounding Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard?

True - not trying to be DD at all. I hope Snyder heard the fan outcry about the filter color issue (probably doesn't give two ***** about it though) and eased it off a bit for this film. KEEP THE COLOR!! t:
