CGI for Arkham island I can understand, every help is needed to recreate the dark and gothic feel of that place, but is it really necessary to use CGI for Wayne manor when there must be plenty of properties with suitable look in the USA?
The manor is most often depicted as a typical Victorian mansion and since house design of the era was accepted in the America almost concurrently with Britain, there must be many of them still around and shouldn't be any trouble to find one.

Not necessary CGI, you can use different locations, for example they're filming on Metamora with a Glass house that it's said that could be the Wayne Manor property and the private cottagge from Bruce Wayne and under that house it's the batcave. I think they won't use one location for Wayne Manor, they could use different locations to get a better result IMO.

I heard Snyder doesn't like to film on Saturdays for religious reasons but I'm not entirely sure on that.

I'm pretty sure he isn't Jewish -- he said so during an interview shortly after 300 was released.

He was also married in St. Batholomew's Episcopal Church.
