Just reread this collection of the Batman vampire stories (BLOODSTORM, RED RAIN, etc). I love Moench and Jones. This book is just dripping with goodness.

Batman Vampire is a great collection. Although I'm not to fond of Red Rain and Crimson Mist, I really like Bloodstorm. For some reason Bloodstorm sticks out between the 3. Maybe because it has the joker and Catwoman or because Jones and Moench just work perfectly in this story.
Also I used to not be a fan of Kelly Jones' art but after reading Bloodstorm I really am becoming a fan. His art works perfectly in Bloodstorm and the colors remind me of The Killing Joke. I love how he deigned the characters. And How it feels like old London.

The reason Red Rain isn't as good is probably because it felt like they tried to put too much story into it and certain characters couldn't develop. Like Tanya and Bruce' relationship really didn't develop. Also Dracula didn't really seem like a threat in Red Rain.
Crimson Mist came off as too much of a sequel. And I hate how Batman is turned into a cold blooded murderer. Crimson Mist really comes off as unnecessary. And the coloring just doesn't look well(early 90's computer coloring). Another reason Crimson Mist isn't as good is because of the way certain charcters die.

So if I were you I would only buy Bloodstorm. I just don't feel Red Rain and Crimson Mist are worth the extra $10-15.
