Batman villains who could have been cast in the Nolanverse

If the Nolanverse had continued and if Heath Ledger had never died, which villains could have been used:

- Harley Quinn to pair up with Heath Ledger's Joker

- Penguin
- Riddler
- Mr Freeze

Would love to have seen a Brittany Murphy Harley Quinn with Ledger's Joker.

Ventriloquist could have been good. I could see a really dark, twisted Nolan take on him. Plus, ventriloquist dolls are creepy as ****!

There's quite a few Villains I would have loved to see in the Nolanverse (It's really not as restrictive as fans tended to make it out to be)

The Riddler
The Penguin
Hugo Strange
Killer Croc
Ventriloquist and Scarface
Rupert Thorne

I know Black Mask was a super popular choice for these movies but I don't find him all that interesting honestly, especially when compared to the Penguin.

I'd say the Riddler was definitely the most popular choice when it came to speculation on who the villain would be in the third movie of the trilogy. Most of the fan ideas were pretty boring to me though, especially that he would be a corrupt police detective who's helping in the hunt for Batman because he's obsessed with solving the "ultimate riddle" which is Batman's identity.

I'd prefer him to be a cyber terrorist who likes lording his superior intellect over everyone in Gotham.

I said above how much I'd love to have seen Brittany Murphy as Harley Quinn with Ledger's Joker... Has anybody noticed how much Olivia Taylor Dudley looks like Murphy in some pics? I could definitely see her as Harley Quinn.

Philip Seymour Hoffman would’ve made a great Penguin in the Nolanverse.

I still cry that we’ll never get to see a live action Joker & Harley the way they were meant to be portrayed, that being by Heath and Brittany.
