Batman uses the Messatsu Go Hadouken while channeling the Dark Hadou which he learned from Akuma in one of his travels, obliterating Thor. Then Thor resurrects and decides Batman's too awesome to keep fighting with him, so he invites him for a round of delicious asgardian booze.

Batman has shown that he can use basic human anomity to stop even the most powerful of foes. Yes one HIT from thor would probably obliterate batman to smithereens...

Thor (although I'm not saying it would be one sided) batman could fathomly beat him. Simply put freeze's gun, it is one of the many tools he has in his arsenal. He'd have to use it damn effective, don't get me wrong, this fight still favours thor. I just think you guys are overlooking the fact he's already dealt with powerful villains, and lived to tell about it. Hell, who knows what fear gas would do to thor.

If he can find a solution to stop clayface. I'm sure he'll find a solution to stop thor.

Not sure if he's taken the brunt of it and walked away, but he's fast enough and powerful enough to react to and channel away the explosion of a gamma bomb. This happened during the Infinity War. Odds are, Thor is powerful enough to withstand a nuke, but the likelihood of Batman getting or using a nuke is slim.

In a straight fight then obviously Batman would be beaten to a pulp.
But it was shown in JLA that Batman had a plan in place to take down every one of the other members of the league - including Superman - and his methods worked on everyone of them!
So, whilst not being a fan of Thor, or knowing a lot about him other than the basics, I would say that if they existed in the same universe then Batman would have studied him thoroughly and would know how to take him down should the need arise. And Batman is depicted to be very very intelligent when it comes to making gadgets - even pan-dimensional... but being resourceful, if it was beyond him he does have contacts that can make items to his specification. So in theory the answer is yes.

And look what happened: He saved Turpin and allowed the heroes to murder Darkseid, goes thru a death trap thatultimately requires him to ask the Justice League for help in order to survive it.

The bigger question would be: Can Batman stop Thor from dimension warping the Nuclear Bomb he wants to use againts Thor.

What exactly would be the point? Seriously, what is the appeal of this battle? Is this a fan favorite? Thor is out of Batman's league, and if he has time to prepare for a battle with Thor, why not just call for assistance from Superman?
