Transformers Bay says test screenings receive highest scores eva!!!!!!

I liked Armageddon. Bays movies, to me, are of better quality than movies like The Mummy Returns, Aliens vs Predator, Charlie's Angels, etc. Bay's movies are fun movies that I set my brain aside to watch and I am usually smiling at some point during the movie. This movie will deliver in that aspect. I'll just have to set aside my fanboy side...maybe I'll smother him.

I wish I could say the same. I think his movies are the worst examples of cinema. Literally! All those other movies you mention don't take themselves seriously.... they're B-movies and I don't mind B-movies (for what they are). Michael Bay's movies are C level movies with A movie gloss.

What hurts is that he takes some really good stories... and turns them into utter crap. Can you imagine Children of Men directed by Michael Bay? Well, that's how I feel about the The Island. A pretty good sci-fi story utterly "dummyfied" by Michael Bay.

I actually liked the mummy returns. Though I agree with anyone who believes that Charlies Angles was crap. At least Charles was meant to be serious. AVP was pure crap because it was meant to be serious(It wasn't) and for some strange reason Fox doesn't realize the franchise died with the first film.

Then it was trashed by all the critics and bombed miserably in theatres; many movies had very different reasults between the test screening and actual release response. So, even if it is true: It means absolutely nothing.

Michael Bay knows his "****" when it comes to action!!! I've read the leaked script for this film, and it really seems like he also has a great story to back up the action with!!

I don't think its best to blindly follow the man, sure footage wise the film looks like it'll be a roller coaster, and to be honest that's all we really have (I'm discounting the leaked script simply because anything can change during the course of a film).

And yes, this will be my first Bay (never heard of the man until this film)!
