After seeing the movie six times in the theater and watching it four times at home, plus listening to the soundtrack I purchased, I have come to the conclusion that the theme which plays as soon as the credits roll at the end of the film is not on the soundtrack I purchased from iTunes nor is it on the CD. The closest thing on the cd to this song is "Molossus," but it just doesn't sound like the same song.

The tracks are:

1. Vespertilio
2. Eptesicus
3. Myotis
4. Barbastella
5. Artibeus
6. Tadarida
7. Macrotus
8. Antrozous
9. Nycteris
10. Molossus
11. Corynorhinus
12. Lasiurus

Can any of you listen to the song at the end of the credits and help me verify that the song is not included in the released soundtrack (or that it is and I've just missed something)? I really want that particular song. Thanks in advance.

No, it is not on the released CD. This is the music that plays when the bats storm Arkham, and also it plays partly when he suits up at the end.

Someone on BOF ripped the music playing during the end credits off the DVD, so that'll take care of it. :) PM me if you want a link - I don't know if I'm allowed to post it here.

The soundtrack IMO was perfect for the movie and perfect when you consider the fact that Elfman had his theme going for the first two and the last two didn't have very much music going for them. BB doesn't rekindle the elfman theme, it's like one big soundtrack through and through. I loved it, if you have any trouble getting that end titles track I'll see what I can do too.

Thanks, Indy...Anita_18 took care of it. I don't know why in the world I waited this long to ask somebody.

LOL, I just listened to it all over again last night. Great stuff, really compliments all the sounds very well.

P.S. Track 1, Vespertilio, the file I have says Vespertilio (Main Titles) yet you never even hear this song during the movie at all. Does anybody know what's up with that?

All I recall from BF as far as movie music was the annoying trumpet *WAAAAAAUGH* and some parts of the Elfman theme for drama.

They are the main titles. Well, probably misleading since BB didn't have opening credits, LOL. But the bat-wing *whoooomfs* play when the WB and DC logos appear (perfectly timed I might add - a nice touch) and the string/brass part plays when Bruce is climbing up the Himalayas. So yes, all of Vespertilio is played in the movie.

The only stuff on the CD that doesn't appear in the movie is Lasiurus. I consider it a special feature on a soundtrack, LOL. It's my favorite track and it portrays the loneliness and tragedy of Bruce's life beautifully.

Ahh, I see now. The more you listen to it the better it gets and the more you understand.

There are traces of it in the movie, such as when Ra's reveals his origin

Yes Lasiurus is the so called "Ra's al Ghul theme"
Lasiurus = Lazarus pit

For those that dont know, the first letters from track numbers 4-9 spell out BATMAN

:)

And these music titles are also scientific names of several species of bats.
:batty: :bat:
:)

Does anyone know if the chase scene music is on the CD? I need that for something I'm making this year.
