Okay, The Official cast as of now is:
The Budget has been confirmed as 100 Million Dollars
Principal Photography will begin September 17, 2007 in Vancouver, where a New York City backlot was built. Sets are being used for apartments and offices, while sequences on Mars and Antarctica will be shot against green screens. Filming will conclude by February 2008.
The film will be scored by Tyler Bates.
Costume Designs are being done by Artists Adam Hughes and John Cassaday.
Snyder will using the Comic as a production story much like he did in 300.
The film will be set in the 1980s and adapted as closely as possible with Snyder saying There are so many easter eggs in the frames (of the comic) so you want that level of detail in the movie itself."
Snyder is hopping for an R rating.
Doctor Manhattan will done entirely in CGI with Billy Crudup doing the Human flashback scenes.
As with all films based off his comics, Alan Moore does not want to be associated with production although Zack Snyder has been quoted as saying that he'd like to speak to Moore before production begins.
