WOW!

i was forced to watch the old christopher lambert beowulf in my english class.

it was basically mortal kombat...
it stats off with the EXACT same mortal kombat intro:wow: wtf lol

and aparently back then they had megaphones, loud speakers, marine high-tech boniculars, and used electricity to make swords....LOL!

i challenge anyone to count how many flips christopher lamberts double does in the movie. And it doesnt help that he also played raden ...

the lighting was exactly like mortal kombat...
sorry if i didnt know but did paul anderson direct this????

the monster suit was actually ok looking..... too bad they cover it up with a cgi purple cloud...lmfao!

awful awful movie....

too bad i was forced to ruin the beowulf story with such a crappy movie... but thats another story.:o

It sounds AWESOME  I´m definitely gonna have to check it out :woot:

i saw this movie when it first came out and that was the point that i knew Lambert's career was done. i remember being excited that they made a Beowulf movie but then it turned out crappy...

...good thing Zemeckis is making a movie that'll hopefully do the story justice.

oh and they totally kept the mortal kombat music lol...

That movie sounds like it would be right up your alley, xwolverine2.

It didn't even come out yet you jack ass!

I'm not being serious, just your thread title is somewhat confusing.

At least you got to watch a movie instead of writing a five paragraph essay.

I thought you were talking about that movie with Gerald Bulter....that one was pretty bad too. Grendel looked like a ******ed Caveman

i disagree, i thought it made him look more human, more explainable almost. gave him reasons to kill the people, some of the scenes were quite comical, and i thought butler was a pretty good beowulf. i wouldn't say its the end all be all of beowulf, but its by far better than the 13th warrior. as for the new one, one word, LAME.

Both the Beowulf movies were terrible. I hope the new is halfway decent, but then again Im just there to see AJ half ass naked or least pretty scandedly cladly dressed :)

It has only been a week and you're already watching the Beowulf movie?! As a class of 2000 graduate of a HS in Miami I have to say that I am impressed.

Dude, go find his movie "Druids" and you'll know real pain. It's got MST3K written all over it. It'll be in the crap bin at your local Walmart.

I saw it three years ago and I promised myself I will never watch it again :( :down

The worse film ever made is "The apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz" I only bring it up becuase I had to sit through it in an English class as you did with Beowulf. I recommended Duddy to anyone who wants to know what a truly bad movie is. I'm so sick of hearing people claim films they dont like are the "worst ever" although this Beowulf does sound pretty bad I will have to check it out.
