Beowulf is one of the worst movies ever

heh...during the scene where he starts slicing up the vikings and sliding down the mountain is pretty much where I fell asleep....

yeah...that's where it lost my attention. that's where it pretty much became mindless action from then on...

WOW!

i was forced to watch the old christopher lambert beowulf in my english class.

it was basically mortal kombat...
it stats off with the EXACT same mortal kombat intro wtf lol

and aparently back then they had megaphones, loud speakers, marine high-tech boniculars, and used electricity to make swords....LOL!

i challenge anyone to count how many flips christopher lamberts double does in the movie.And it doesnt help that he also played raden ...

the lighting was exactly like mortal kombat...

the monster suit was actually ok looking..... too bad they cover it up with a cgi purple cloud...lmfao!

awful awful movie....

too bad i was forced to ruin the beowulf story with such a crappy movie... but thats another story.

LOL we no know where Andertwat got his inspiration, I know to stay well clear of Beowulf just incase it ever comes up

Grendel in that one isn't scratching his armpits and the top of his head like some dumb ape. He doesn't grunt or make gibberish noises without meaning, has his own language although to Beowulf it sounds like gibberish. I liked it a lot. I also can't wait for the new one because growing up reading that tale I also always imagined Grendel as a monster, so I want to see if they will get as you put it, the vision of him in my head right. I just liked that realistic take with the version with Butler alot. I think it helped after seeing the crapfest Lambert version lol.

i just watched Beowulf & Grendel and i'll say at least it was better than Beowulf with Lambert, but that's not very hard to do. on the whole though...i thought it was really effin' bland.
